Hindoostan, Farther India, China, Thibet: 20x24This map is a reproduction of a map by S. Augustus Mitchell, Jr., and included in the 1860 edition of Mitchell's New General Atlas. Each of the maps in this Atlas are in color and feature Mitchell's characteristic pastel coloring and abundant details of geographical characteristics. The maps from west of the Mississippi are especially interesting, as they show the growth and evolution of the United States, and the maps from the rest of the world are also unique in that they capture a snapshot of countries and regions that look much different from today's maps. Mitchell's trademark floral borders make these maps extremely desirable for framing and display. Each of the maps from this Atlas is now available either flat or as matted and framed wall art, and in sizes 13 in. by 16 in., or 20 in. by 24 in. Our color maps are printed on 80 pound high quality stock
