They are followed by 32 chapters pertaining to Bedford County as organized in 1884, each township being given a separate chapter. In turn, they are followed by 30 chapters devoted to Somerset County, treated in the same manner. Following these are 19 chapters relating to Fulton County, including the military. 96 exhaustive chapters! Local historic lore was gathered from at least a thousand pioneers of their descendants by the writers of this book. Includes at least 8,000 dates and ten times as many names-extremely accurate.
